It is a great pleasure and honour to welcome you to the upcoming 49th ESPEN 2027 Congress, which will be held in Istanbul, one of the world’s most historic crossroads of science, culture, and civilization.

This important scientific gathering is organized by the European Society for Clinical Nutrition and Metabolism (ESPEN) in collaboration with the Turkish Society of Clinical Nutrition and Metabolism (KEPAN). We are delighted to host colleagues and friends from across Europe and around the world in a city that has served for centuries as a bridge between continents, cultures, and ideas.

Clinical nutrition is now firmly recognized as a cornerstone of modern medical care. Advancing this field requires not only scientific innovation but also the continuous exchange of knowledge among researchers and clinicians worldwide.
